Elia one of the properties of the Athermigo Estate is a two-storey Cottage of 50m2 that can accommodate up to four people. It has a double built-in bed, a writing desk with fireplace as well as a bathroom with shower on the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the upper loft-style floor, which offers a second bedroom with two single beds.

The name Athermigo is derived from the traditional olive pressing process that is typical of the locality and it literally means ‘Cold Pressed’ (referring to the technique of extracting the olive oil from the olives that preserves all its nutritional elements and provides the best taste). The three deluxe accommodation units are named after the trees on the property: Elia (Olive tree), Rodia (Pomegranate tree) and Karydia (Walnut tree). Architecture & History
Athermigo Estate is an ancient monument, a remarkable example of local, traditional architecture. Elements such as the main entrance, the stone openings, the interior patio, the traditional exterior oven, the well and the semi-circular arches typical of the architecture of the time, as well as the original oil extraction machinery, have all been preserved intact. This renovation process resulted in a luxurious and contemporary villa complex.
