The villa is situated below the central area of Kamares Houses and is approached through a stone arch leading to the well-stocked garden, the patio and the main entrance. The door opens to a high wooden ceiling large living area floored with cypress wood that was obtained from the owner’s family cypress grove. Once you walk through the door, you will be amazed by the most beautiful wooden scent that seems time is incapable of erasing, a feeling which is hard to describe with words. In keeping with the traditional theme, the living room has a fireplace and other features such as traditional woven curtains which maintain the authentic feel.
Off the living room is the kitchen complete with marble sink and all modern appliances. The kitchen windows offer lovely views to the sea, to the pool and across the valley.
Outside the living room there is a covered balcony paved in white marble, overlooking the rear garden and the pool, ideal for your breakfast coffee or evening meal under the tranquilising sound of the leaves rustling and the birds tweets, the scent of the numerous flowers and the beautiful views across the wooded valley.
A few steps down from the living room there is the middle floor with the first the guest bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom maintains the traditional ambiance with two antique iron beds, handmade curtains and cozy colour scheme. The en – suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, it has hand painted tiles, stone shelves and a large cabinet made from cypress wood.
A few more steps down there is a very spacious master bedroom, paved in Cretan white marble, complete with corner fireplace and double bed, wardrobe and furniture all hand crafted with cypress wood. A short hall leads to a large en – suite bathroom with a bath tub and large marble bathroom bench.
Off the same hall there is a handmade double glass cast iron door, crafted by the owner which leads to a covered terrace and the rear garden and pool. The terrace is stone built and features a large handmade eucalyptus wood table, a peaceful and relaxing corner to soak up the garden and the views.
