About Lene Villa

A truly unique and completely private Luxury Villa for up to 12 persons. Villa Lene has amazing panoramic sea view, it is set in a peaceful location, the pool is more than magnificent and the Kalathas Beach, one of Chania's most beautiful is just 5 mins walk. Lene is newly refurbished with all luxuries, satellite TV, wi-fi, maid service 6 times per week and complete privacy.

The villa is built in three floors, with direct access from the pool and terrace area to the main floor with its large, fully equipped modern kitchen including an American refrigerator providing non-stop ice cubes for those hot summer days and sufficient place setting for up to twelve people. Also this floor consists of a modern furnished spacious open plan living and sitting area including a fireplace for the cooler evenings as well as satellite TV and DVD player, here you will also find a guest toilet.

On the upper floor is the 80sqm master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom in connection to the master bedroom perfect for younger children to be sleeping in.

On the lower ground floor are four bedrooms, three of them with direct access to the garden and double beds, the last bedroom has two single beds and a window towards the garden. There is air conditioning in all rooms.

The terrace and pool area is completely private. There is a large grass garden as well as a west-facing balcony. All linen are included and changed twice per week. There is a shared tennis court where you can enjoy your afternoon exercise with family and friends. The villa has an alarm system, surveillance camera and a private, fenced in parking space. Villa Lene has an appointed Manager who is reachable by phone day and early evening taking care of your requests and questions.

Coast/Beach

The Akrotiri peninsula north of Chania in Western Crete is surrounded by the sea and is full of sandy beaches and smaller coves. A 5 minute walk will take you to the closest; Kalathas beach. There are many other sandy beaches on the Akrotiri but a car is needed to get to these. For Tersanas Beach it is a 4 minute drive, Stavros Beach 10 minute drive and Marathi Beach 25 minute drive. The area is mostly characterized by locals and the beaches are far from crowded.

Golf

An 18 hole golf course can be found in Hersonissos near Iraklio which 2 hour 35 minute drive from us.

How to get there

The nearest airport is Chania (pronounced Hania) which is 15 minutes drive away. Heraklion is the island's main airport and is 2 hours from us. To enjoy this area fully a car is recommended. There is a regular bus service to Chania the nearest bus stop is a 5 minute walk.
Car hire is essential.

Distances

Chorafakia village 2 mins by car. Kounoupidiana town 10 mins by car. Chania City 30 mins by car. Monasteries close by, 10-20 min drive. Archaeological sites from 40 mins - 2 hours by car. Water Park 45 mins by car. Athens 1 hour by plane - see Aegean and Olympic airways.

Bedrooms

Upstairs master bedroom with double bed, connected twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have a separate entrance and there is a connecting door between them which can be locked. Downstairs 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all have TV, DVD and air condition.

Bathrooms

Upstairs master bathroom with jacuzzi and a separate shower. Downstairs 2 bathrooms en-suite and one in the hall shared by 2 bedrooms, all of which are newly refurbished.

Kitchen

Large open kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, completely equipped with all utensils.

Utility Room

On the lower ground floor there is a washing machine and drier, iron and ironing board for your use.

Living Rooms

Open plan sitting area, dining area and living room with comfortable sofas, stereo, TV, DVD, fireplace, air condition and dining seating for 12 persons.

Not suitable for wheelchair users.

Outside

The terrace and pool area is completely private and has sun beds for all as well as a barbecue, and on the partly roofed terrace there are stylish outdoor furniture with room for everyone to sit together and enjoy the amazing sunsets over a lovely dinner. From the living area there is access to an additional balcony with incredible view, perfect for after dinner relaxation.
